A COLLECTION APART

THE BELUGA CHAIR

Two and a half years of research and development, dozens of prototypes, hundreds of hours of testing and adjustments: the Beluga chair was not born by chance. Every line has been thought out, every curve optimized to create a 100% single-material recycled kit chair, with no compromise between aesthetics, solidity, and environmental impact.

A structured design, conceived for ergonomics and durability, optimized manufacturing to limit waste, and a unique technical approach: a completely reversible plastic-to-plastic assembly. The result? A truly recyclable chair, without burdening the sorting chain.

Even before its launch, it was featured in the Centre Pompidou store and gained recognition at Milan and Paris Design Weeks. These are places and events where design doesn't cut corners. Demanding partners like the Grand Palais and Voltex have already put their trust in it.

THE BAIJI STOOL

Building on the two and a half years of R&D that led to the creation of the Beluga chair, the Baiji stool is not an improvised follow-up. Every line has been redesigned for a new silhouette, every curve optimized to meet a different use—while maintaining the same founding principle: a 100% recycled monomaterial kit, without compromising aesthetics, solidity, and environmental impact.

Same technical DNA, same manufacturing requirements, same approach: a fully reversible plastic-to-plastic assembly. The result? A truly recycled and recyclable stool that once again innovates in both form and substance.

Recognized from its launch as being in the lineage of the Beluga, it naturally fits into the same demanding venues—boutiques, workspaces, and events where design is authentic.

F.A.Q.

Our products are made from 100% talc-filled recycled polypropylene (rPP), sourced from European medical waste. They contain no virgin material.

Our products are designed for indoor use. While our colors are UV-treated to resist light (e.g., behind a window), prolonged exposure to the elements will gradually degrade the plastic, even recycled plastic. To ensure the longevity of your chair, we recommend indoor use.

Yes. From 50 units upwards, we can produce your Beluga in a custom color. Contact us at contact@polimair.fr to discuss.

No. The Beluga is delivered flat-packed in 4 pieces (seat, 2 side legs, 1 back leg/backrest) with screws and an assembly tool integrated into the seat. Assembly takes just a few minutes, with no additional tools required, as the screwdriver is provided in the center of the seat. We recommend tightening it firmly during assembly and again a week later to allow the assembly to settle.

The Beluga chair has achieved an A rating on the Eco Impact score, a benchmark established by ADEME (the French Agency for Ecological Transition). It boasts an environmental cost 55% lower than the average chair on the market, and emits 8.8 kg eq. CO2 less than a comparable product. 100% of its materials are recycled, and it is fully recyclable at the end of its life.

Yes. All parts are available separately on our Spare Parts page.

rPP is a very easy-to-maintain plastic. For routine cleaning, a glass cleaner is sufficient. In the long term, if the plastic gets scratched, a plastic restorer can revive it.

All our furniture is available for download in 2D and 3D, in several formats, to easily integrate into the work tools of all professionals (architects, designers, design offices).

Our products are guaranteed for life against any breakage affecting their normal use. Specifically: if your chair breaks and no longer fulfills its function, we will replace the part, with no time limit.

We will replace the broken part free of charge. In exchange, we ask that you return the defective part to us so that it can be properly recycled.

100% in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. From raw material to finished product, the entire manufacturing chain is located in France.
